DELORNE CO.
Size & Fit
Our opening collection is offered in S, M, L, XL, and Custom. Custom sizing is available on all four jackets at the displayed price. Fit depends on the style, so compare the measurements of a jacket you already like with the confirmed measurements for Alder, Mercer, Atlas, or Onyx.
Contact us for confirmed measurements before selecting your size.
Ordering a custom size
Select Custom on your chosen jacket’s product page. Choose inches or centimetres, then enter all five measurements below. Use a well-fitting jacket zipped closed and laid flat without stretching; these are garment dimensions, not body measurements. Use the same unit for every field. Your selected units and measurements will appear in your bag and be saved with the order.
Five measurements to check
- Chest width, flat: Zip the jacket closed and lay it flat without stretching. Measure straight across from armpit to armpit. Double the flat width only when you need the garment circumference.
- Shoulder width: Measure straight across the back between the outer shoulder seams.
- Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam along the sleeve to the cuff edge. Include Atlas’s ribbed cuff.
- Back length: Measure down the center back from the collar attachment seam to the lowest hem edge. Exclude the collar and hood; include ribbed hem trim.
- Hem width, flat: Measure across the bottom edge with the jacket zipped. Measure Atlas’s ribbing relaxed.
Plan for your layers
Compare your measurements while considering the knit or shirt you intend to wear underneath. Letter sizes are not universal across brands, and body chest circumference is different from a jacket’s flat chest width.
S–XL are standard size options. For a custom size, select Custom and complete the five measurement fields on the product page. Check every value and your units before ordering. Contact us if you need help measuring.
